At present, our company is using the shell mainly in: DIP and SMT two categories In the process of use, we must pay attention to the following parameters are correct

　　a. Exterior dimensions: According to the acknowledgement of the exterior dimensions into the inspection, usually using "vernier calipers" for measurement. In the dimensions provided by the supplier, there are often many, based on the limitations of the test tool, we can not test one by one, usually for the main parameters to measure. For some unmeasurable parameters, the test assembly method is used for inspection.

　　b. Appearance inspection: According to the requirements of the "appearance inspection standard" for inspection

　　c. Heat resistance test: for the shell of straight PIN products: the shell is generally filled with glue and cannot be scalded on the tin surface for about 3 seconds.

　　The shell used for SMD products need to be over IR to see if there is deformation, cracking and other phenomena. General requirements can withstand 260 degrees IR furnace.

　　d. Material: DIP shell generally use bakelite powder, SMT is generally DAP material.
