As all we have known that the RJ stands for a registered jack. Concurrently, there are numerous  terms applied to RJ45 such as modular plug, 8P8C, end, connector and so on. These terms are used interchangeably. These all describe the piece attached to the end of an Ethernet cable that plugs into your TV, computer, router, etc.

In recent years, LAN connectors have become standard equipment not only on computers and other IT products but also in digital TV sets as well as many other types of audiovisual appliances and consumer products. The RJ45 one of the Ethernet transformers which are standardized physical network interface for connecting telecommunications or data equipment. The correct way to refer to the common RJ45 plug” is 8P8C RJ45 Ethernet connector. This long name truly nails it down. The 8P8C means eight position or eight conductor. It refers to a type of modular plug normally used at the end of Ethernet patch cables, and when attached at the end of an Ethernet cable it is called a RJ45 8P8C plug.

YYITEX Devices the RJ45 connectors are available in jack or couple package types with 8P8C or 8P10C and single port, 1x2, 2x4, 2x6, and 2x8 port assemblies. The models feature Surface Mount Type (SMT), and Through Hole Type (TH) mounting styles as well as horizontal or vertical orientations. Select RJ45 jacks carry integrated magnetic along with speeds of 10/100 or 10/100/1000 Base-T even to 10G Base-T. These magnetic jacks offer the benefits of simplified design integration and improved EMI noise immunity. Several RJ45 magnetic jack models further comply with the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard supporting up to 15.4w of power per port.
